Notes by generation
What changes in the tables
- Generation I: does not have Dark/Steel/Fairy; there are different matchups (ex.: Bug vs Poison and Ghost vs Psychic).
- Generations II–V: with Steel and Dark, and some important adjustments (ex.: Ghost becomes 2× against Psychic; Bug vs Poison gets ½×).
- Generation VI+: with Fairy and some adjustments (ex.: Ghost and Dark become 1× against Steel).
Dual-defense rule: the final multiplier is (attack → type1) × (attack → type2).
