Pokémon
Pokémon is a media franchise by The Pokémon Company, created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995, inspired by the hobby of insect collecting. The series revolves around fictional creatures called “Pokémon,” which humans capture and train for battles using attacks of various types. It began with two RPGs for the Game Boy, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo—and eventually became the main reference for the creature-collection genre.

Pokémon Pokopia — life simulation for Nintendo Switch 2
In Pokopia, you play as a Ditto that takes human form and helps transform an empty area into a cozy home for Pokémon. The proposal is “cozy”: gather resources, craft, build, and cooperate with Pokémon to change the environment (instead of using traditional tools). Planned release for March 5, 2026.
